A lantern (known as a 'fanus' in Arabic) is one of the central symbols of the Ramadan holiday, a month of fasting for the Muslim community.

The giant lantern is placed in the center of a garden, inviting visitors to enter, touch the ball in the center, and use it to change the lantern's color with each touch.

The lantern is constructed from wood that was cut using CNC cutting and carpentry techniques.
The project was established for the Mishlema of Jaffa the Tel Aviv - Jaffa Municipality during Ramadan 2021
